Mark 3:28-29

Mark 3;28-29 Life Application Bible (NIV)
Truly I tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins and
every slander they utter, 29 but whoever blasphemes against
the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an
eternal sin.

Meaning: Christians sometimes wonder if they have committed
this sin of blaspheming the Holy Spirit.  Christians need not
worry about this sin because this sin is attributing to the devil what is the work of the Holy Spirit.   It reveals a heart-attitude of unbelief and unrepentance.  Deliberate, ongoing rejection of the work of the Holy Spirit is blasphemy because it is rejecting God himself.  The religious leaders accused Jesus of blasphemy, but ironically they were the quality ones when they looked at Jesus in the face and accused him of being possessed by Satan.

I am disagreeing with the meaning.... we need to look at the verse an take it for face value.  This verse was written by God and in red in the bible.  That is why I wrote it in red also.  So.... we Christians do have to worry about this sin!

  1. Please my follow Christians I look up what blasphemy means, it means to curse or say take the Lord's name in vain. It's easy to do when you get mad.
